EN 149Filtering half masks to protect against particles
Covers disposable dust masks (filtering facepieces). They protect against dust, mists and fumes but not against gases or vapours or in oxygen-deficient air.
Reading the marking: FFP1 (total inward leakage up to 22%), FFP2 (up to 8%), FFP3 (up to 2%). NR = single shift only; R = reusable. D = passed the dolomite clogging test, giving better breathability in dusty conditions.
