EN 361 — Personal protective equipment against falls from a height: full body harnesses
Covers full body harnesses used as part of a fall-arrest system. A marking 'A' identifies the fall-arrest attachment points.
Reading the marking: A = fall-arrest attachment point (dorsal or sternal); A/2 = two loops that must be connected together.
EN 358 — Personal protective equipment for work positioning and prevention of falls from a height
Covers work positioning belts and lanyards that let a worker lean back and work hands-free. They are not fall-arrest devices and must be backed up by a fall-arrest system where a fall is possible.
ANSI Z359.11 — Safety requirements for full body harnesses
