EN 54-7 — Fire detection and fire alarm systems: point smoke detectors
Covers optical and ionisation point smoke detectors. Dusty or humid environments may need a different detector type or more frequent cleaning.
EN 54-5 — Fire detection and fire alarm systems: point heat detectors
Covers heat detectors for areas where smoke detectors would cause false alarms, such as kitchens, garages and dusty plant rooms.
