ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 — American National Standard for emergency eyewash and shower equipment
Sets flow, duration, location and water temperature requirements for emergency showers and eyewash. Units must be reachable within about 10 seconds and deliver tepid water for 15 minutes.
Reading the marking: Eyewash at least 1.5 L/min (0.4 gpm); shower at least 75.7 L/min (20 gpm); tepid water 16-38 °C; weekly activation test and annual inspection.
